For some reason, I really loved Diablo I & II. Does anybody wonder if blizzard will make a Diablo III? I'd kill for it.

I think it's because half of the blizzard team left. And maybe they feel that they don't need to do Diablo III because WoW is working so good for them.

(BTW you had me all excited, I was thinking that this thread was going to say that blizzard told gamespot or some other website that they are making diablo III T_T).

I will do some research but I think it's because when blizzard created WoW, the diablo team didn't like the fact that it will have a fee. That is why people left blizzard.
And, because they are missing their diablo team, they don't (or can't) create diablo III, but they still have some people from the starcraft team.

From what I heard, Hellgate:London was basicly Diablo 3, but I could be wrong

Well seeing as how shallow Hellgate and Mythos are, it might be for the best. That said, I have a pretty damn good faith in Blizzard.

mythos www.mythos.com same team that created came up with and worked on the Diablo Series.

I've played some of the beta its a pretty cool game, work has been running me ragged and i haven't really gotten a chance to explore it like i should.

I have been told its is short by a couple of people in my Clan.
Mythos is still in beta no one really knows what its going to be. Guildwars anyone?

I've made about 11 levels in the beta so far. It feels like a childish, 3D Diablo clone. It made me go back to D2. It's like Flagship can't get out of the D2 dust.

I very much doubt they can't make it. The company owns the IP, not the particular team within the company that worked on the game. They could always dedicate another team to it, even if it meant hiring a new team. However, it is likely they don't want to release another RPG that could potentially take customers away from their cashcow.

What I meant by can't is that they don't have the imagination or things like that to create it. Not the financial or legal issues (there's none).

I am in the Mythos beta. It's not very good so far.

They're missing a storyline. I don't meant the storyline is merely bad, like Halo 2 or Final Fantasy or some such, I mean there literally isn't one. At all.
